MOTIVAZIONI
La seguente relazione aims to clarify the motivations, objectives and methods that led us to occupy the room 29a ISIA Faenza for the days of 3, 4 and 5 April 2007.
Starting from the considerations of anthropologists and sociologists such as Z. Bauman and M. Augé, we realized that the existing educational facilities can not handle adequately the changing shape of society. It is therefore increasingly vital to create awareness on the "here and now" (Phenomenology of design). Driven by these motivations, in these three days, we have created the conditions to foster a debate still open and in need of further questions. Why, knowing the context in which we are going to work once their studies, it means being able to move in the right way that quickly becomes a distant past.
WAYS
In all the days we invited students and faculty to participate. We have provided an alternative educational experimental and free to be chosen based on their priority list. The need was and is to shake regardless of the ways. Metalogue (the setting of the event reflects and addresses the topics covered.)
Day One: Tuesday, April 3 '07
- Professor Lanzoni "usurper" of his chair in the classroom (29a) has agreed to discuss the issues proposed by us, taking a quick lesson on the shape of the particles during the status transitions, comparing this system to the natural change in our society.
- this introduction has triggered a debate attended by more and more students creating a sort of blog-real all’esterno dell’aula.
- Che ruolo abbiamo us in this?
- The company creates more liquid or more potential problems?
- What role do we have in this?
-
- Craft and industry comparison.
Having read some of the objects of contemporary design, we observed a tendency towards the creation of artistic and handicraft. This state of affairs requires a new relationship between designer and production. Maybe we sail in the direction of a third industrial revolution?
diverse events as the series are in some ways a symptom?
Pop Campana Brothers Memphis ... ... ... ... Droog contemporary art today is to pursue the design?
- what are the consequences of new media?
are changing the intra-and inter-personal relationships.
the publication itself and the analysis of new identity are designed to emphasize the relationship between new media (such as alternative marketing, public design, graphics ...) and their direct recipients, users of these messages.
Students are more numerous and more active participation.
technologies of the word, image and expression, the media of communication
are "institutions" neutral. They "shape" the human mind, forms of knowledge and culture. "(Mark Luhan)
" One day historians and archaeologists will eventually discover that the ads of our time are the richest and most reliable reflection that a company has ever managed to have on their business. " (Yves Klein 1928-1962)
- Public Art, round and sculptures.
Roundabouts are places devoid of identity where the only action available to the public gaze, are installed in some works of art, others become well-kept gardens that advertise 's botanical company that puts their product, others are left blank.
In all these cases, you can add attractive elements that can stimulate the curiosity and interest in an area untouched. Entering a roundabout is like treading on the moon. After projected images of some installations in the area of \u200b\u200bCesena, Forli and Faenza, have been invited those present to speak on monuments and public spaces without causing damage, using materials found on the street. The focus shifts to the things of everyday life and the installer tries to do, if only for one day, that the habit has cleared.
Day Three: Thursday, April 5th '07
- Interventions in the institute.
were exchanged within a few sessions of the space used for meetings, with the intention of creating a diversity of objects in order to be able to physically touch what is studied.
- These items must leave the museum, past the static and emblems of a culture that wanted to stop and turn instead to revisit the objects that have shaped the history of design.
In the same room, over an ironing board, books and magazines were placed del settore, con lo scopo di liberare e condividere la cultura.
